A woman of substance.
Independent, proud, loyal,
courageous.
With great sadness we announce the death of
our dear friend Louise Claybourn Newman, beloved wife of the late
Lewis Newman, on July 24, 2019 at the age of 64.
The last
member of the Claybourn family, Louise is predeceased by her parents
George and Daisy (Radcliffe) Claybourn, her brother Marvin (Donna), as
well as several other brothers and sisters. She also had many nieces
and nephews.
Born in the Old Victoria
Hospital in Fredericton and raised in Barker’s Point, Louise lived
most of her life in Fredericton and Miramichi City, and will be
greatly missed by her friends in both
places.
Louise loved nothing more than spending time with
friends, going for a double double at Tim’s, shopping, and
most of all laughing. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary and
could be counted on to have a card to mark the occasion of all those
she cared for. Those of us who were lucky enough to be part of her
life were so proud to be counted among her
friends.
Arrangements are under the
care of Bishops Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB.
Messages of condolences and sharing of memories may be made
at www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
A service to celebrate Louise
will be held on August
24th,
details to follow.
In lieu
of flowers, donations in Louise’s memory, can be made to the New
Brunswick Association of Community
Living.
