LeRoy «Roy»‘s Obituary
Beals, LeRoy “Roy” Dudley, 91 of Tibbetts Senior’s Home formerly of Nictaux Falls passed away July 25, 2019 at Valley Regional Hospital. Born in East Inglisville on May 3, 1928, he was the son of the late Dudley and Amanda (Mailman) Beals. He was a truck driver for Thompson’s Transfer until retirement at the age of 65. He was a volunteer of the Nictaux Volunteer Fire Department for 25+ years and Meals on Wheels as coordinator and a driver. He enjoyed gardening and shared his excess vegetables with many friends. While at Tibbetts, he continued on with this passion. He loved doting on the family dog, Trini and they brought each other great joy. Roy is survived by his wife of 70 years Vera (Haight) and his children; Gary (Suzanne) Beals, Gail (Wil) Van Gestel, Crystal (George) Burrell. He was a very proud grandfather to Jay, Nichola, Jesse, Gregory (Kristina), Susie and Jimmy (Rhonda) and great-grandfather to three. He was predeceased by his brother Vernon. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 30 from 6-9 PM and the funeral will be held Wednesday, July 31 at 1:00 pm in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. (902) 825-3448.
