James Edward Russell LeNeve of Point Edward, passed away peacefully, with family by his side at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, in his 85th year. Jim was the loved husband and best friend of Doris, together they celebrated over 65 years of marriage.
Cherished father of Laurie & Wayne, Janet & Walter, Rick & Kathy and predeceased by his daughter and son-in-law Joanne & Joe. Jim leaves a legacy in his 11 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
Jim was well known for his involvement in harness racing throughout the circuit. As a trainer, driver, and owner, Jim took great pride in his horses with much of his racing completed at Hiawatha Horse Park in Sarnia.
Family and friends continue to celebrate Jim’s life. A life of patience, perseverance, and pride. Special thanks to St. Joseph’s Hospice for the compassion and comfort. Donations in Jim’s name are appreciated to St. Joseph’s Hospice.
