Peacefully, Thursday, July 18th, 2019 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.
Beloved husband of Linda Osachuk. Loving father of Sredo Vakareskov (Heather Howe), Joe Vakareskov (Crystal), and Julie Vakareskov, and stepchildren Alicyn Miller (Gary) and John Osachuk (Lisa Kondrat). Cherished grandpa to Dean, Evan, Joey, Ava, Ethan, Atlas, and Cydonia. Dear son of Sredoje and Jovanka (Macej) Vakareskov both predeceased. Dear brother of Nada predeceased. Sadly missed by relatives in Serbia.
A retired butcher from the Dominion Stores, he was well-known in the Sudbury community, and active in the Serbian community.
Funeral Visitation at the

Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 from 6pm-8pm
With prayers at 8pm Tuesday.
Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery, Second Avenue, Sudbury,
Wednesday, July 24th, 2019 at 10am.
