Obituary of Jack Wickwire
Wickwire, Jack Howard Sr. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at CKHA, Chatham. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Sales) 1992. Loving father of Carol (Oliver) Want, David (Joanne) Wickwire, the late Linda (late Donny) Parent, Mary (George) Caron, Ken (Bev) Wickwire, Rick Wickwire, Robert (Rose) Wickwire, Rita (James) Hutton, Jack Jr. (Shelley) Wickwire. Cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Son of the late Orvis and Gladys (DeForest) Wickwire. Predeceased by his siblings Donald Wickwire, Reginald Butler, Marlene Chalcraft, and Jean Cyster. Jack will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and friends. Jack was an avid sports fan. In lieu of flowers donations made to Diabetes Canada or Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
Friends and family will be received at DENNING’S OF CHATHAM (519-352-2390), 4 Victoria Avenue, on Saturday, July 27th, 2019 from 2 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 o’clock. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at Kent-Belgian-Dutch-Canadian Club, on Sunday from 2 to 6pm. A private Interment will be held at a later date.
