Hardy, Helen (formerly Barter; nee Watson):
Passed away peacefully with family by her side at VON Sakura House, Woodstock, on Monday, July 1, 2019. Predeceased by her husbands Gerald Barter and John Hardy, her brother John Watson, her sister Jeanette Diamond and brother-in-law Philip Diamond. Much loved sister of Maureen McShane and her husband George ‘Bill’. Loving aunt of Julie Diamond and her husband Rob Martin, Jason Diamond, Bill McShane and his wife Kristine, the late John McShane and proud great-aunt of Markus, Amber, and Austin Martin, Devon and Dylan McShane and the late Dallas McShane. Survived by her sister-in-law Carol Watson. Helen will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
Helen’s family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery, Oakville, ON.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hospital for Sick Kids, Patient Care Unit would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
