WILSON, Harry Edward On June 29th, 2019, 78 years after he came into this world, Harry ‘s courageous battle with cancer ended. After spending his birthday morning speaking to and seeing some of the many important people in his life, Harry passed away peacefully with a full heart. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Margaret, Harry is survived by his loving bride of 57 years, Gillian, daughter Wendy (Al) and son Steve (Susan). Grumpy will be forever missed by his grandchildren Danielle (Shelden), Trent (Quinn), Elli, Olivia and his great grandson Jaxon. A brother to 4 siblings, pre-deceased by his sister Linda, Harry will be mourned by Raymond (Lin), Jack and Jim (Judy) and their respective families. Harry provided his family with a foundation of strength and unconditional love. Always setting the example with good old fashioned hard work, integrity, and courage, Harry was a protector, a provider, a problem solver and a hero. FU cancer, grace and love win this time. As per Harry’s wishes, the family would like to invite you to a reception to celebrate his life, sharing memories of a life well lived. He didn’t want people to mourn, but instead, remember him with a smile. Please join us at the Belleville Club, 210 Pinnancle St., Belleville on Saturday July 6th, between 1pm and 5pm.
