A golden flame was extinguished on July 11, 2019. It is with sadness
that we announce the passing of Greg Stoyles. He is survived by his
wife Cynthia, daughter Marie (Joe), son Greg Jr. (Dr. Polly) and
grand-daughter Sacha. Greg was one of the founding members of the
Cambridge Newfoundland Club. He believed in community service in both
Cambridge and his home town of Bell Island.
Visitation will be held at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N.,
Cambridge (519)-740-0669 on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 2 pm – 4
pm & 7 pm – 9 pm.
Funeral Mass with be held at St. Clement’s R.C. Church, 745 Duke
Street, Cambridge on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Reception to
follow at the Cambridge Newfoundland Club. Burial to take place in
Lance Cove, Bell Island, Nfld at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your
choice in memory of Greg. A special thanks to all Nurses and
PSW’s who took care of Greg; you are amazing.
