Obituary for
Gordon Emerson Shuck
On July 25, 2019, Gordon Emerson Shuck of Sangudo, AB passed away at the age of 82 years.
Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Shirley; sons, Nolan Bret, Brad (Kimberly); daughters, Penny Kennedy, Shelly (Derek) Dewsnap, Cynthia (Chad) Lagimodiere; grandchildren, Bryce (Leanne), Ryan, Kirk (Rachel) and their mother, Elaine, Billy (Katelyn), Chastyn (Ricky), Erin, Sheldon, Chloe, Cash; great-grandchildren, Ethyn, Parker, Cameron, Andon, Brayden, Blake, Demrick, Jack, Brock and Hannah; and many more dear relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents, Sheldon and Ruby; grandson, Blayne; and eight siblings.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mayerthorpe Healthcare Centre; and the nurses of Mayerthorpe Homecare for their patience and excellent care.
Gordon and his family moved to Sangudo, AB in 1976, where he farmed along the Pembina River. He had five great life’s loves; his wife, Shirley, his family, his farm, good stories and music.
Funeral Service Thursday, August 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Sangudo United Church, 4907 – 50 Avenue, Sangudo. Reverend Ruth Lotholz officiating with interment in South Park Cemetery.
