Obituary of Beatrice « Bea » Eleanor Patterson
PATTERSON – Beatrice Eleanor (née Knoll). It is with broken hearts that we announce Bea’s passing at the Woolcott Wing of the Welland County General Hospital on Monday, July 8, 2019 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Patterson (1997), loving mother of Barbara Ori (the late Andy 2014), Beverly (Gordon) MacGregor and David Patterson, cherished grandmother of Lisa (Dwayne) Graff, Leanne (Brent) Fowler, Janice (Wayne) Wettlaufer, Anne Patterson and Sean Patterson, great grandmother of James and Lana Graff, Cole and Olivia Fowler. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents Albert and Lydia Knoll, her siblings Edna Roush, Olive Mosolf, Russell Knoll. Bea lived her whole life in Port Colborne and resided in the family home for over 65 years. She always had a positive attitude and a kind and caring nature. Bea devoted her life to her family; they were her greatest joy. She leaves a legacy of love, faith and wonderful cherished memories which will never be forgotten. The Patterson family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Davidson Chapel. Burial will follow at Overholt Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
