Barbara Greco (nee Owen)
May 23, 1944 – July 22, 2019
Peacefully on Monday, July 22nd 2019, Barbara passed away at the age of 75, at Hamilton General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Orazio and parents David and Muriel Owen. Beloved mother of Angela (Mike) Versace. Loving nonna of Nino and Andrea. Sister of Bill Owen (late Stella). Sister in law of Salvatrice Greco (late Giuseppe), Madeleine Greco (late Salvatore), the late Francesca and Salvatore Bonomo. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation on Thursday, July 25 2019 at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. East from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Patrick’s Church. 440 King St. East on Friday July 26, 2019 at 10:00 am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Plains Road, Burlington. In memory of Barbara’s love for music, a piano scholarship has been established c/o Studio E School of Music, in lieu of flowers. Donation cards will be available at the funeral home.
