Yolanda Cechetto
1931-2019
We, the family of Yolanda
Oliva Cechetto, regret to announce her passing on Monday, June 10,
2019, at Laurel Lake Residence, Halifax, at the age of
88.
Born March 30, 1931, in Italy, she was the daughter of the
late Gino and Lorigia (Cechetto) Seccafien.
In 1998, Yolanda retired from the Gaum Clinic, where she
worked as a medical secretary.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Benny) Lawrence and
Cristina (John) DeYoung, Halifax; grandsons, Eric and Alex; sisters,
Silvana Bertin and Elsa Bonaldo, Italy; brother, Silvio, Italy; many
nieces and nephews in Cape Breton and Italy.
Besides her parents, Yolanda was predeceased by her husband,
Eric.
There will be no visitation or service. Interment will take
place in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
