Velma Marie Trevors,72, of Miramichi, NB, passed away on Friday June 7, 2019 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
Born in Chatham, NB, the daughter of the late Albain & Carmella (Martin) Turbide.
Velma is survived by her loving husband Mervin Trevors, sons: Blair Trevors of Shearwater NS, Keith Trevors (Leanne) of Edmonton Alberta, Grandchildren: Lindsay Cruz (Erivan), Terry Trevors, Holly Trevors. Step-grandchildren Haley, Abby, Liam Young and great-grandchild Cameron Cruz, and adopted daughter Kim McLean of Greenwood NS.
She is also survived by her sisters; Merilda Fowlie (late Robert) of Barrie, ON, Virgine Durelle (Paul) of Escuminac, Lucia McCulloch (Francis) of Oshawa, ON, Jolaine Fowlie (Kevin) of Little Branch, Paulette Turbide (John) of Kalamazoo, Michigan USA, Brothers: Antonio (Zoe) Turbide (Shirley) of Miramichi, Andre Turbide (Janice) of Escuminac, and many nieces and nephews.
Velma Marie Trevors is resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, 35 University Avenue, Miramichi, NB on Monday June 10, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at Saint Michael’s Basilica, Miramichi, NB, with Father John Fraser officiating.
Interment will be in Saint Michael’s Cemetery.
