It is with broken hearts that the family of the late
LEEANNE M. SLANEY of St. Lawrence
announces her passing. Leeanne passed away at the U.S.
Memorial Health Care Centre, St. Lawrence on Friday, June
28th, 2019, at the age of
39. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories
are her father, Robert Slaney; brothers, Robert (Melinda) of Burin and
Thomas (Robin) of St. Lawrence; sister, Juanita (Thomas) Drake of St.
Lawrence; nieces, Shannon (William), Kristen and Cassandra; nephews,
Gus (Ashley), Adam (Kayla) and Devin; great-nephew, Ayden;
her bestie, Robyn Beck (Lawrence Slaney) of St. Lawrence;
special friend, Nathan Beck (Jenni Nurse); plus a large circle of
extended family and friends. Leeanne was predeceased by her
mother, Julia Slaney; brother, Jimmy Slaney; and grandparents, Thomas
& Ester Edwards and Mary Agnus & Thomas
Slaney.
The Slaney Family will be
accepting visitors at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St.
Lawrence on Sunday, June 30th, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm;
Monday, July 1st from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, and
Tuesday, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon; from where the prayer vigil will be
held on Monday evening at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial
will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St.
Lawrence on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
Cremation will
follow.
