Kathleen Ann Heaney
February 10, 1955 – June 17, 2019
It is with heavy hearts her sons announce the passing of Kathleen Ann Heaney on June 17, 2019 in Bedford, Nova Scotia, loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, niece, cousin and friend. Gone are the days we used to share but you will never be more than a thought away. May you rest in peace.
Kathy is survived by her sons Alan Michaud and David Michaud, her mother Esther Ann Cameron (Johnstone), and her sister Maureen Smith (Heaney), her grandchildren Haley Hines, Noah Michaud and Emily Michaud, her nephew Brendan Smith, her brother-in-law Wayne Smith, her soon to be daughter-in-law Lauren Connor and her children Daniel and Brianna, the mother of her granddaughter Emily, Leslie Jones, and her constant companion Patches. She is predeceased by her father Charles Heaney and her step-father of 42 years Alexander Chisholm Cameron.
You are not gone Kathy but nearly walking within us. Your love will light our way. Be at rest now.
