Peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday June 16, 2019. Jacques Thurler age 84 of South Mountain. Beloved husband of Therese (Yerly). Loving brother of five, four siblings residing in his country of origin, Switzerland, Michel (Josy), residing in Canada. Extraordinary Dad of Nick (Lynn), Rachel (Gerry) Westenbroek, Eric (Ginette), Val (Felix) Von Gunten, Martine (Chris) Guy and Oliver (Jayme). Cherished Grandpa of 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and the late Beau Westenbroek. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 10 Church Street, Chesterville on Saturday June 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. A celebration of life at the Chesterville Legion, 167 Chesterville, Queen Street from 1:00 to 4:00pm.
