James, Harold R. – Passed away peacefully, in his 91st year, with his wife by his side on Sunday, June 9th at the Ross Memorial Hospital. Harold is the beloved husband of Florence, in their 69th year of marriage. Cherished father of Philip (Helen), Gord, Ken (Jean), and Valerie (Ed Call). Loving Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Predeceased by his daughter Marlene and his 3 brothers and 1 sister. He will be missed by his extended family and friends. With his wife, Harold received the «Citizen of the Year Award» in 1970, from the town Lindsay. Both Harold and Florence devoted their time volunteering with highlights in Boy Scouts and St. John’s Ambulance. After their retirement, they were dedicated to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, the community and their family. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Thursday, June 27th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00p.m and on Friday, June 28th at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 45 Russell Street West, Lindsay from 12:00 until time of funeral service at 1:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to St. Paul’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
