Peacefully, at the Perth Hospital on June 18, 2019, at the age of 87.
Loving husband and best friend of Sally. Dear father of Susanne and Stephen (Lisa). Proud poppy of Lori and Christopher and step-poppy of Nicole, Amber and Justin. Survived by sister Velma. Predeceased by his brothers Norman, John, Christopher and sisters Margaret, Mary, Gladys and Theresa. Will be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Friday June 21, 2019, from 6-9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 86 Princess Street, Lanark at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lanark.
For those who wish, a donation to the Diabetes Association or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 395, Lanark would be appreciated by the family.
