Dorothy Taylor, 85, passed away on June 19th at Seaforth Community Hospital after a short illness. Predeceased by her husband, Ian, she will be dearly missed by her sister Garrie, nephew Scott (Mary), niece Carol (Thomas) as well as her cherished four great-nephews: Nick, Evan, Elliot and Dexter. Dorothy will also be missed by her god-daughter Margaret from Dacre, and longtime friends, Wendy of Stratford and Warren and Kendra of London.
Before her husband’s passing in 2016, she and Ian were happy, active residents of Stratford, volunteering for many years with the Stratford Theatre and Stratford Hospital, among other organizations. They spent their lives together travelling all over the world, enjoying beautiful landscapes, great food and wine, and new experiences. Prior to moving to Stratford, they spent their first few decades of married life in Burlington, Ontario. Dorothy was born in Ottawa.
