Constance Elaine «Connie»
McNutt – 91, Brentwood, passed away peacefully on
Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at All Saints Springhill Hospital,
Springhill. Born in Dean, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and
Eva (Cox) McLean.
Connie was a long-time member of St. Paul’s
Presbyterian Church, McClure’s Mills. She worked at
Stanfield’s and later at Crossley Carpets from where she
retired in 1992. Connie loved country music and dancing and attended
many dances over the years; she also enjoyed gardening, reading and
playing cards. (45s). She had a soft spot in her heart for animals and
will be missed by her feline companion, Heidi.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Charlene (Gary)
Archibald, Brentwood; son, Terry (Sandra) McNutt, Doaktown, New
Brunswick; grandchildren, Diane (Tim) Flynn, Kenora, Ontario; Martin
McNutt (Monique O’Donnell), Keswick Ridge, New Brunswick;
Celia Jane Archibald, Stewiacke; great grandchildren, Abigail Flynn,
Liam Flynn, Sophia Flynn, Jaiden Archibald, Brianna Archibald, Addison
Archibald, Jackson Archibald, Alexander McNutt, Samuel McNutt;
sisters, Frances Matheson, Halifax; Cheryl (Larry) Fletcher, Truro;
sister-in-law, Jean McLean, Halifax; brother-in-law, Bill Nowoselski,
Mississauga, Ontario; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Walter Martin McNutt; grandson, Cody Archibald; sister, Elizabeth
Nowoselski; brothers, Milton McLean, Eric McLean, Carman
McLean.
All are welcome to attend a graveside interment service that
will be held 11 a.m., Friday, June 21, 2019, at Crossroads Cemetery,
110 Salmon River Road, Valley, Reverend Andrew Campbell officiating.
If so desired, donations in Connie’s memory to All Saints
Springhill Hospital are welcomed.
