Obituary of Tanya Lea Bosworth-Bouder
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Tanya on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. She fought a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 17, 1965 in Montreal, she was the daughter of David and Kay Bosworth, Hants Border.
Tanya loved her family and cherished family time. She enjoyed volunteering, photography and advocating for those in need. She recently found her calling as a support worker.
She is survived by her loving parents, David and Kay Bosworth, Hants Border; daughter, Brianna Bouder, Dartmouth; son, Liam Bosworth, Hants Border; brother, Joel (Heather) Bosworth, Hantsport; niece, Jessica Bosworth, Hantsport; aunts, uncles, and cousins. A very special thank you to her doctor, Chris King; the palliative care team, especially Dr. Karen Burch and Dr. Lori Burgess; Dr. Michael Mulherin who went above and beyond to provide care and comfort for Tanya; the wonderful nurses of Medical A; the VON nurses and the pharmacy staff at Lawtons in New Minas. These very special individuals meant a lot to Tanya and her family. Thank you to everyone who has blessed us during this journey.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St. Windsor (902-798-8317). A private burial took place on Wednesday, May 8 in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport. Donations in memory of Tanya may be made to Canadian Cancer Society – NS Division, 5826 South St., Halifax, NS B3H 1S6.
