Pinagpala Borbon

On the morning of May 4, 2019, Pinagpala (PAL) Borbon of Hamilton, Ontario peacefully passed at the age of 89 surrounded by his family.
Pal was born to Mathilde and Joaquin on October 1929. On March 1959, he married Lourdes (Lou) and raised four daughters – Jojette, Noey, Thelma and Bambi. In 1975, the family moved from the Philippines to Canada.
With his passion for airplanes he built a life time career abroad as an Aircraft Mechanic, the last 15 years being with Air Canada before finally retiring. He also had many pastime favourites including fishing, reading, writing and watching NCIS. Always a lifelong learner, at the age of 75 he got his first computer, enjoying newfound freedom.
His truest passion was his family, characterized by his many inspirational, thoughtful and humorous gestures. He was a loving husband and dedicated father. Pal is survived by his wife Lou, four daughters – Jojette, Noey & Henrik (Spouse), Thelma & Ralph (Spouse) and Bambi & Dave (Spouse) and five grandchildren – Sabrina, Kirsten, Casey, Connor & Bailey.
Visitation to be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON L8W 3M2 (905-574-0405) on Friday May 10, 2019 at 10:00 am followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 am.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
