«Motherhood is a million little moments that God weaves together with grace, redemption, laughter, tears, and most of all love.»
Beautiful ~ Loving ~ Giving.
Nancy Beth McDonald – a woman of many talents, including her gift as an artist, but most of all, she was a gift, as a wife and mom. Nancy passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Sarnia St. Joseph’s Hospice at the age of 51 after living every moment to the fullest. A free spirit full of love. Together, Nancy and her endearing husband, Scott, were together for 18 years and raised their incredible children: Adam, age 11 and Maeve, age 8, giving them a life of incredible family experiences and togetherness. Nancy «ran the show» in their home, a true artist, life was alive for the moment event, and Nancy was one to take it on.
Adam and Maeve will always cherish their arts and crafts and baking sessions with their mom, but most of all the memories of special times at the beach. Scott was loved deeply and without reservation and continues to cherish the memories, the spontaneity, and the free spirit of his beautiful wife.
Nancy had a great group of «chick friends» who were always challenging, supporting and watching over each other. These beautiful women Nancy loved: Lindsey, Nikki, Debbie, Sue, Connie, Lisa, Goretti, Lisa, and Linda. Forever friends, forever soul sisters. The daughter of the late Mason and Helen McDonald of Thedford, Nancy is also predeceased by her loved brother Rick.
Family and friends continue to celebrate Nancy’s life and will join together at a later date for the time of celebrating the memories and moments shared with Nancy.
Nancy and her family were shown incredible care and compassion during her time at the St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia. Donations are appreciated to the Hospice in honour of the care given to all who enter their doors.
