Peacefully in the hands of God, at Orchard Terrace Winona with her cousin Irma Oddi at her side, Maria passed away on Tuesday May 8, 2019 in her 102nd year. Born to, Vincenzo and Erica Oddi, in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Italy. Beloved wife of the late Armando DeSantis. Dear sister of the late Primo Oddi. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews throughout Canada and Italy. Special thanks to the staff at Orchard Terrace Care Centre for their care and compassion. Resting at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Friday, May 10, from 5 to 9 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony’s Church on Saturday May 11, 2019 at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Souls Mausoleum in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. Donations to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family
