Lester David Polley
1941-2019
It is with sadness that we announce the
sudden passing of Lester David Polley of
Upper Cape, NB. Born in Upper Cape, Lester was a son of the
late Cecil and Gladys (Mullins) Polley.
Lester had fished lobster for most of
his life. He was an avid hunter and trout
fisherman. He was devoted to his mother and took great care
of her in the remaining years of her life after Cecil
passed.
Lester is survived by his sisters,
Audrey Alder, Upper Cape, and Laureen Polley, Upper Cape, as well as
several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his
brother Albert and his brother Edward in infancy, as well as his
brother-in-law, Ernest Alder.
Lester’s arrangements are under the care
and guidance of the Jones Funeral Home,
70 Bridge Street, Sackville and 3 West Main Street, Port
Elgin. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service
will be held from the Upper Cape Cemetery, on Friday, May 10, 2019 at
11 am. Rev. Catherine Smith presiding.
Donations in memory of Lester may be
made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke
Foundation.
