It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father and Nonno, Mickey Caputo. He passed away peacefully on May 21 with his family by his side.
Mickey was born in Trail and grew up in the Gulch until he married his wife Merica in 1955. Mickey was the Post Master in Rossland until he retired in 1986. He then went on to work at The Colander as a bartender for more than 15 years.
He was a member of the Colombo Lodge, The Knights of Columbus, and an active member of his church as an usher.
Mickey is survived by his sister Lovina and his children, David (Raylene), Lisa (Stephen), Michelle (Peter), and his cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Garin, Jacob, Darion, Shailyn, and Danielle. He is predeceased by his wife Merica, his brothers Ritchie, Freddie, Noel, and his sister Gilda.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 10:30 am with Father Francis dela Cruz, Celebrant. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
