It is with great sadness that the family announces Kevin’s peaceful passing, with the assistance of MAID, on April 26th, 2019 after battling a lengthy illness with courage, humor and wisdom. He will be forever missed. Kevin was born in Quebec on October 12th, 1958 – the third of four siblings, Ramona, Patty and Mark, to parents Patrick and Lily (Balena). Kevin spent most of his working life in the technology sector and placement industry. He possessed a wicked sense of humor and was well versed on almost any topic so loved having lively, heated discussions with family and friends. Kevin married Karen (Bula) and was a loving and devoted father to their children Riley and Addison. They were his pride and joy! Riley and Addison’s doting grandparents, Chet and Brenda (Bula), were constant in supporting Kevin during his illness. The family wishes to commend the health care teams at Lakeridge, VON and LHIN for all their support. Kevin never liked being the centre of attention so, as per his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no funeral service.
