Jeannette Dupuis
Peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital on Sunday, 5 May 2019 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Andre, her mother Claire Perrault and father Henri Martin. Very proud mother of Andre Jr (Anne-Marie), Pierre (Chantale), Paul (Elizabeth) and Michel (Vicki). Loving grandmother of Robyn (Alan), Holly (Louie), Jason (Kristina), Dominic (Emilie), Alexandre, Sophie, Maya and Brianna. Great-grandmother of Lukus, Noah, Jake and Siena. Caring sister of Jacqueline Lalonde, Bernard Martin (Marilyn), and her late sisters Rolande Anstey (Charlie) and Paulette Desjardins (Jean-Guy).
She will be fondly remembered by family and friends. The family would especially like to recognize her friends and the caring staff at Valley Stream Retirement Residence. Jeannette was a fun-loving and gregarious lady and her last four years were deeply enriched by everyone at Valley Stream. You truly were part of her extended family. We can never thank you enough for all you did for her. The family would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Acute Care of the Elderly Unit at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, with a very special thank you to Nurse Christina. You all made her last few days peaceful and comfortable. You were the angels that held her hand with us as she made her journey to heaven. We will always be grateful.
Friends and family are invited to attend a gathering at the Chapel at Valley Stream Retirement Residence (2 Valley Stream Drive, Nepean) on Thursday May 9th, 2019 at 11 a.m. for a celebration of her life, followed by a light lunch.
