Jeanne Marie Moncrieff

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Jeanne Marie Moncrieff of Breton, Alberta on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Jeanne will forever be lovingly remembered by her children, Donna (Elliott) Burden, Cary (Anna) Moncrieff, Raymond Moncrieff and Kathleen Moncrieff; grandchildren, Donald, Michael, Tyler and Holly, as well as by several extended family and life-long friends.… Read More » Throughout the years, Jeanne had a passion for gardening, enjoyed sewing and was an exceptional cook. For several years she cooked beautiful meals for those in need at the Salvation Army and CNIB in Calgary. Jeanne is predeceased by her husband, Donald Moncrieff in 1978; infant son, Dougie; parents, Bill and Laura Gibson, and siblings, Margie, Irene, Bob and Gerry. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at Highwood Cemetery in High River, Alberta where she will join her husband. If desired, memorial contributions in Jeanne’s honour may be made directly to The Salvation Army (Calgary), Territorial Headquarters for Canada and Bermuda, 2 Overlea Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario M4H 1P4.
