Howe, Marion Albertha
May 28th, 2019
Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, Marion Albertha (Noble) Howe of London in her 82nd year. Best friend and partner of Ralph Johnston. Dear mother of Carole and David Stinson, and Rob and Caroline Howe. Beloved grandmother of Gray and Micaela Stinson, Madeleine Stinson, and Amelia, Eva and Julia Howe. Daughter of the late George and Verna Noble. Sister of Bob and Margaret Noble, Larry and Sharon Noble, and David and Ruth Noble. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Rob and Carole’s father Bob Howe; sister Marjorie Crosby; brother-in-law Ted Crosby; brother Gordon Noble; sisters-in-law Betty Anne Noble and Pat Lowe; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Marie Howe; and friend Jim Haggith. Marion was artistic, kind, generous and possessed a quiet inner-strength. During her lifetime, she re-invented herself many times: from fashion model to administrative work at Kellogg’s as a young woman, to wife, mother and homemaker, jewellery-maker and entrepreneur, student and grandmother. She took pride in the many years she worked at Kingsmill’s and had many friends. Marion faced her sudden illness with bravery, grace and love. A private burial will take place. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, please consider a memorial donation to the CNIB or Diabetes Canada, chosen by Marion to honour her parents.
