It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Campbellford, on May 21, 2019 at the age of 96 years. Son of the late Fortuna and late Alda (née Serré) Joanette. Beloved husband of 68 years to Thérèse Joanette (née Daoust). Loving father to Daniel Joanette (Jolanta) and Nicole Noble (Jim). Cherished grandfather to Nadine Noble, Melissa Noble, Celeste Paderson (Chris) and Daniel Joanette (Kacey). Great-grandfather to Kameron Noble, Leyland Noble, Eowyn Joanette and Evan Paderson. Brother to the late Delima Campbell, late Alma Jolly, Ida Gravelle, Cécile Leclair, Juliette Gravelle, Lucille Beach, Berthe Lavoie and late Roger Joanette. He will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Delphis was a 3rd degree member of the Azilda Knights of Columbus, Council #11559 for many years. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, on Saturday, May 25th, 2019 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Sunday, May 26th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Community Care Northumberland. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
