Obituary for Mrs. Catherine (Kathy) Theresa Leblond
Catherine (Kathy) Theresa Leblond (Slattery) of North Bay ON, passed away peacefully with family and care by her side on April 26, 2019 in Collingwood, ON resting in her home at Bay Haven Senior Care Home. Loving Mother to two sons, Rob (Jennifer) and Tom (Haley) and four grandchildren, Mathew, Paige, Colin and Jack and spouse of many years to Paul Leblond of North Bay. Kathy found peace and joy in her artwork and her art still graces the library at the North Bay Regional Hospital. Kathy was born in North Bay, ON and remained there until January 2017 when she moved closer to her children. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Francis and Helen May Slattery (Mackenzie) and her brother Roderick Slattery. Kathy is survived by her sisters, Peggy, Trudy, Beth, Paula and many nieces and nephews. Kathy’s children would like to give special love and thanks to all the nurses and doctors who cared for Kathy over the years in North Bay at the Percy Place and the PEP center as well as at Collingwood’s Bay Haven Senior Care Home.
A celebration of life gathering will be held in North Bay on the lake front home where she spent her childhood.
