It is with broken hearts that the family of Mrs. Brenda Betty Huber (nee Bustard), beloved wife of Mr. Brian Huber of Red Deer, announce her sudden passing on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the age of 60 years. Brenda was born on June 19, 1958 and raised at Pincher Creek, Alberta. Over the years, life led her to several homes in Saskatchewan and Alberta. In 1993, Brenda married the love of her life, Brian Huber. They made a life together in Grande Prairie, Alberta for more than twenty years. In 2013, after Brian had retired, Brenda and Brian moved to Red Deer and the following year, they bought their Mesa, Arizona home; where they spent their winters. This was Brenda’s ‘happy place’. It was nice and warm, she had wonderful friends, she had a beautiful home, and she was fully involved in the Venture Out ‘park life’. Brenda was a talented musician and played several instruments; as well as having a beautiful singing voice. She also loved performing and spent many years involved with the Grande Prairie Little Theatre Group and with the Venture Out, Hams @ Heart Performers. She loved spending time with family and friends, camping, cooking, traveling and so much more. Brenda lived life to the fullest. She was a much-loved woman who left us far too soon. Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Brian; her sons, Ryan (Christy) Yaroshko Huber and Garett Yaroshko, both of Biggar, Saskatchewan; step daughter, Jenna Huber (David Berger) of Leduc, Alberta; granddaughter, Lydia Huber of Biggar, Saskatchewan; sister, Debra (William) Ramage of Calgary and brother, Brad (Christi) Bustard of Pincher Creek; and she was like a second mother to her niece, Terra Bruns and nephew, Dana Bruns. She will also be sadly missed by her loving in-laws: Annette Huber, Joannie (Ron) Zimmer, Wayne Huber, Dean (Carol) Huber, Lois (Mark) Kurlovich, Don (Jennifer) Huber; as well as nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and host of long-time friends from around Alberta, Canada and the U.S. Brenda was predeceased by her father, Fred Bustard and her mother, Betty Bustard, of Pincher Creek and her father in-law, Gilbert Huber. A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Brenda’s honor may be made directly to the Red Deer Regional Health Foundation, Attention: Department of Cardiology at www.rdrhfoundation.com or 3942 – 50 A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 4E7.
