Betty had a zest for life – enjoying and sharing the gifts which each day offered. She had an enduring commitment to her husband, her family, her church and her community. Betty was active in various groups at Metropolitan United Church, IODE and St. George’s Home and School Association. She taught officially for several years prior to marriage and by example throughout her life thereafter – enriching the lives of family and friends.
Betty valued and nurtured long-term relationships. She was a hospitable and loving woman, with a genuine appreciation for others. Her warm heart never faltered.
Betty’s family wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Mount Hope staff on St. Mary’s first floor and Marian Villa fourth floor, as well as to the many supporting team members. Their professionalism, compassion, commitment and kindness are deep-rooted and authentic. Mom was surrounded by a second, very loving family when she moved to Mount Hope. We are very grateful.
