It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. Barb passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace where she received loving care for the last year of her life. She will be deeply missed by her sons Bradley, Mark (Brenda), grandson Rory, sister Sandra, and her many nieces and nephews. Barb is predeceased by her husbands Kenneth Bunney and Derek Watkin. Barb was an active resident of Fergus/ Elora for 75 years. After her retirement from Immigration Canada, Barb fulfilled a lifelong ambition learning to line dance and tap dance in her seventies. She took great pride in performing shows for the local senior citizen community. Barb was also an avid gardener and loved nature and the outdoors.
Visitation will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by Service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wellington Terrace or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
