PRIEUR, Theresa
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving matriarch, Theresa Prieur (née Renaud), on April 23rd, 2019 at the age of 98. She was born on March 17, 1921 in Cache Bay, Ontario and married Bob Prieur in 1940. They lived in Wahnapitae for 25 years, moving to Sudbury in 1981. She was a dedicated mother, talented artist, an accomplished gardener and had the best roof top garden while living at St. Andrews place. She loved spending time with her family, lived her life to the fullest and was a model for how life should be lived.
Beloved wife of Bob, predeceased and loving mother to Ben (Carmen) of Manitoulin Island; Lawrence, predeceased (Marie) of Sudbury; Robert (Julie) of London; Joan Villeneuve (Joe) of Sudbury and daughter-in-law Charlene of Langley BC. Dear grandmother of Brooks, Sheldon, Rhona, Stacey, Patti, Mick, Vicky, Mary, Mike and Andy and great-grandmother of 13. She will be missed by friend Rob.
The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of the Lasalle Residence and nursing staff on the 4th floor, North Tower at Health Sciences North for their care and compassion.
Friends are invited to join in a celebration of Theresa’s life Saturday, April 27th, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME at 222 Lasalle Boulevard, Sudbury.
