Atkinson, Sharon (nee Barnes)
Passed away peacefully in her sleep at the N.B.R.H.C on April 16, 2019 at the age of 70 years. Predeceased by her husband Robert ‘Bob’ Atkinson. Sharon dedicated 26 years to her community as a P.S.W. Loving mother of Kathy Boyle (Gord Atkinson), Ken Boyle (Dana) and Tamara Atkinson (Justin Paulin). Cherished grandma of Jen, Gordi, Zaiden, Katie, Zed and soon to be great granddaughter Hailey. Sharon will be sadly missed by her best-friend Daphne Bealy, extended family and friends. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s crematorium. Sharon was a PSW for 25 years at Paramed. Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday April 27, 2019 from 11 am until 2 pm. Donations to a Charity of Choice would be gratefully appreciate by her family.
