Lorraine Daigle
1927-2019
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Lorraine Daigle 92, of Richibucto
passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent
on Monday, April 1, 2019. Born in Richibucto, she was the
daughter of Cecile Robichaud and Horace Graham and was raised by her
grandparents, Joseph and Leonie Robichaud. Being a great
housewife, Lorraine had many other passions like crafting, sewing and
enjoyed working in her beautiful flower
garden.
Lorraine will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 62
years, Edmond Daigle of Richibucto; four daughters, Isella Richard of
Aldouane, Maria Daigle of Aldouane, Yvonne LeBlanc of Ste. Anne,
Yvette Richard (Jean-Claude) of St. Charles; fourteen grandchildren
and eleven great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her aunt Isella Comeau (late Simon)
of St. Louis; son-in-law, Ronald Chevarie of Cambridge, ON as well as
many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents – grandparents, she was predeceased by
many aunts, uncles and one daughter,
Jeannette.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Thursday evening from 7-9 pm, Friday at 2:00 pm until
departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated
on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman
Catholic Church, Richibucto. Donations in
Lorraine’s memory may be made to the NB Heart &
Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the
donor’s choice. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
