Irma Janet Toews Barkman was born November 8, 1927, in Ste. Anne, MB. She passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Maplewood Manor, Steinbach, MB.
She leaves to mourn five daughters; Ruth & Lewis Klassen, Joan & Lloyd Klassen, Lois & Youssef Solomon, Lavaun & Kevin Reimer, Arlene & Jonathan Toews; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Gladwin Barkman.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019, at 10:30 am at the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Steinbach, MB.
