It is with great sadness
that the family of the late HOWARD
J. HICKMAN of Grand Bank announce
his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on
Tuesday, April 16th at the age of 68. Leaving to mourn with
fond and loving memories are wife Elaine of 49 years; son, Howard Jr.
(Melanie) of Paradise, NL; daughters, Tracey Hickman (Perry Adams) of
Clarenville, NL, Jennifer Haley (Robert) of Flat Rock, NL; 5
grandchildren, Zachary, Jordyn, Allie, Julia, James; plus a large
circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his
parents, Elsie Hickman & Joseph Strickland; sisters; Rita
Burt, Mae Hawkins, Christine Hollett.
The Hickman Family will
be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand
Bank on Thursday, April 18th from 2:00pm to 9:00pm; where the funeral
service will be held on Friday, April 19th at 2:00pm.
As per
Howard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment to
follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand
Bank.
In
Howard’s memory, donations may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society or flowers gratefully
accepted.
