Florence (Bonnie) Bernadette Clancey
February 23, 1947 – March 23, 2019
It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to Florence (nee Dwyer) Clancey, who, after a brief illness, passed away peacefully on March 23rd, 2019 at the age of 72 in Oakville, ON with family by her side.
Predeceased by her husband, Jack, Florence will be forever loved as a mother and grandmother by her children, Sandy (Gary) King and John (Shannon) Clancey, and her grandchildren, Gracie, Oliver, Charlotte and Rose. Bonnie will also remain in the hearts and memories of her family in Oakville, Vince Dwyer and his sons Curt and Vince.
Florence will be remembered for her smile, personality and hearty laugh that would light up a room. Flo was a selfless, giving person who was like a mother to many of Sandy and John’s friends. Ever the optimist, Florence always saw the good in others, no matter their faults or imperfections. She cared most deeply about her family, friends, and loved those closest to her unconditionally. Nannie Flo cherished her grandchildren, and leaves them with many happy memories of play, fun and cuddles.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral and visitation details to be announced at a later date.
