Peacefully at Golden Plough Lodge, Cobourg on Friday March 29, 2019 in her 72nd year. Elizabeth Begley, beloved wife of Larry of 49 years. Loving mother of Bob (Angie). Step Grandmother of Matty. Sister of Brenda (Brian), Barbara (the late Ralph), Bonnie (Bob) and the late Sally and Bob. Daughter of Hope and Jack Begley.
Betty was a life member of the Port Hope Legion, The Port Hope Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 30, Port Hope, Past District F Commander and Past Provincial Bursary Chairman for the Legion.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Mercy, Walton Street, Port Hope, on Saturday April 6th, 2019 at 10 a.m. Prior to the mass, there will be a Legion walk through and a Ladies Auxiliary Service held at The Ross Funeral Chapel, 135 Walton St., Port Hope at 9 a.m.
