1945-2019
The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on
Monday, April 22, 2019 of Donald Vernon Strongman, of Southwest Road,
aged 74, beloved husband of Carol (Dawson) Strongman.
Donald was born in O`Leary on March 7, 1945, son of the
late Robert & Mina (Acorn) Strongman.
Loving father to Dale (Heather), Poplar Grove; Dawna
(Sterling) Ramsay, Summerside and Deanna (Kent) Easter, Sunnyside.
Special grandfather to Nathan (Megan) and Remington (Ashley)
Strongman; Harrison (Sydney) and Camryn Ramsay; Brandon and Madalyn
Easter and great grandfather to Sophia Rose Strongman.
Dear brother to Blair (Betty) Strongman, Summerside and Doris
Cole, Ottawa.
Donald is also survived by his brothers in law Wendell
(Marjorie) Dawson, Charlottetown and Sam (Lorna) Dawson, Poplar Grove
and sister in law Betty Jr. Strongman, Burnt Church,
N.B.
Donald was predeceased by his parents, brother Robert Jr.,
sister Ruby Jean and brother in law Murray Cole.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with no
visiting by personal request.
Funeral service will be held at St. James Anglican Church,
Port Hill on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the parish
cemetery.
In memory of Donald, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society
or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be
appreciated.
