CHARLES FREDRICK SCHIPPLING (1943 – 2019)
Charles Fredrick Schippling, of Simcoe and formerly of Tillsonburg, passed away at Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Sue Billard for many wonderful years. Charles is survived by his children; Valerie McQueen (Dan), Peter Schippling and Bradley Schippling, step-children; Nicole McCullagh (Brad), Ryan Dennis (LeAnne), Ryan Billard, Kevin Gault (Jen), Alexis Gault (David Worth) and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Cynthia Hobson of Waterloo and uncle of Rachel Stockdale (David) of Kitchener, Joshua Hobson (Melanie) of Shaespeare and David Ilott of Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents John “Jack” and Paulette (Iza) Schippling, his sister Linda Ilott and brother-in-law Rae Hobson. Charles was the former Proprietor of Huron Plumbing and Electric. He was an avid race fan who enjoyed both Sprint and Nascar races. In keeping with Charles’ wishes, cremation has taken place. The family invite friends and relatives to a visitation to be held at New Apostolic Church, 50 Oakwood Ave., Simcoe on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Service for Charles will follow at 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Lung Association or the Norfolk SPCA may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
