Barbara Alice « Barb »
O’Brien – 62, Salmon
River, passed away suddenly, as a result of a heart attack, on Monday,
April 22, 2019, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in
Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Norma (Clarke)
O’Brien.
Barb is survived by her daughter, Tracey Fillmore, Truro;
sons, Glen McNutt, Warminster, Ontario; Steven O’Brien,
Truro; grandchildren, Michael, Jessie, Devon, Matthew,
Anthony, Aubrey, Graydon, Madelyn; three great grandchildren; sister,
Norma (Roger) Collins, Salmon River; brother, Teddy (Heather)
O’Brien, Debert; nephew, Richard Collins,
Truro; many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she
was predeceased by her brothers, Jimmy and John.
Private graveside service will be held at a later date in
Mahon Cemetery, Great Village. If so desired, donations in
Barb’s memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation are
welcomed.
