Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, April 25, 2019 in his 98 th year. Beloved husband of Margaret “Peggy” for 70 years. Loving father of Dianne Pridmore (Steve) and Judy Day-Janz (Gord). Proud grandfather of Amy McKibbon (Sam) and Alana Day-Janz. Dear brother of June Goodings (William). Al will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Tom Robertson (May) and sisters-in-law Marion Duncan (Jimmy) and Mae Purdon (Andy). Al was a former
employee of Eatons as well as a long time employee of Cockshutt/White Farm Equipment. Al was a lifetime member of Colborne and Heritage United Church. He was also the past President of AMS and a member of the Kiwanis Club. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday, May 1 st , 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Al can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
