Thomas Strombom
1931-2019
Strombom, Thomas … following an intimate visit with each family
member Tom passed peacefully at Lisaard House, Cambridge, on Friday
March 29, 2019 at the age of 87. Loving and devoted husband of Eileen
Strombom (nee Morgan). Cherished father of Lois (Jake) Aguas, Lori
(Howard) Newhook and Trudy (Fred) Dunn. Proud grandfather of five
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Thomas will also be sadly
missed by his sister (Anne), nieces, nephews, extended family and
friends.
Tom enjoyed travelling with Eileen and together they created many
special memories especially from their favourite spots in Italy and
Mexico.
Grandchildren (Christie, Shawna, Tommy, Emylee and Alyssa) and
great-grandchildren (Lilly, Wesley, Avery and Addy) were cherished
blessings to Tom and he loved his fun times with each one of
them.
The family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to the staff and
volunteers at Lisaard House for the care and compassion provided.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where
family and friends will be received on Tuesday April 2, 2019 from 4:30
p.m., until the time of the funeral service to be held in the funeral
home chapel at 6 p.m. Cremation will follow.
Memorial donations to Lisaard House or a charity of your choice would
be appreciated by the family.
