Sidney J. Scott
1933-2019
The death of
Sidney Scott, beloved husband of the late Mary Doreen (Bannan) Scott,
occurred on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Kennebec Manor. Born on
March 23, 1933 in Hartland, he was the son of the late George Edward
and Mary Selina (Beaman) Scott.
Prior to
retiring, Sidney worked in the auto body industry and was a jack of
all trades. He always looked forward to the family corn
boils, was a huge hockey fan and also enjoyed
boxing.
Sidney is
survived by his children, Dorothy « Beth » Brigley
(Eldon) of Quispamsis, Sidney « Skipper » Scott of
Quispamsis, Marie Elaina « Molly » Scott of
Pearsonville and Shera Scott of Saint John; grandchildren, Darren,
Scott, Shera, Craig, Shaylene, Summer, Ashley, Teah, Chelsea and
Shyanne; several great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Dempster
and brother-in-law, Lenny Dempster both of Quispamsis. In
addition to his parents and spouse, he was also predeceased by his
brother, George Scott.
In keeping
with Sidney’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will
take place. Arrangements are under the care and direction of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
