It is with heavy hearts the family of Ron announce his passing, comfortably, peacefully and surrounded by family, in his 68th year, at the Hamilton General ICU, on Saturday March 30th . He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years, Linda. Father of Tim (Trish), Sean (Leslie), Chris (Jayce), Josh (Christina) and his daughter Dani. Ron is also survived by his eight grandchildren and many friends. Ron dedicated a great deal of his life to CYO basketball, coaching and motivating countless youth over the years. His rally cries of “Who’s the team?!” and “Animal Ball!” will be remembered by all who shared the court. Family and friends will be received at DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME , 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday, April 5th, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. In keeping with Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 6th, 2019 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. at the Polish Hall on Albion St., where Ron loved to play pool, have a beer and listen to the juke box. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ron can be made to the Music Project | Alzheimer Society of Toronto.
