Peacefully at Brockville General Hospital on Friday March 15, 2019. Ron Gipson of Delta, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Joan Wilby. Loving father of Roger (Anne) of Portland, Janice McBride of Athens and Mary (Jeff) Nelson of Ridgeway. Dear brother of Leona (Lawrence) Bell of Athens. Fondly remembered by grandchildren; Kylie, Justin, Katie-Jayne and Joshua Gipson, Wade (Trisha) and Cara McBride and great-grandchildren; Asia and Max. Sadly missed by nieces; Irene, Doris and Penny as well as godson, Todd (Rebecca) Mallette and their families. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Sunday from 6-9 and Monday from 2-4 and 6-9. Funeral Service in Our Chapel on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Olivet Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
